   Welcome! Our website

Centre for Law and Business Ltd/Gte (CLB) is a non-profit and non-governmental organisation established with the overall mission of engendering a better educated society especially with regard to the role of law in society, business and management and the enhancement of the human capital.

In pursuance of this mission, CLB seeks to provide knowledge that creates innovation, industry and ideas for growth, enable and advance continuing legal and non legal adult education, offer basic understanding of legal requirements as may be relevant and empowerment through knowledge, skills and self development.

The Centre aims to attain excellence in and contribute to the study, practice and appreciation of law, business and management ethics, practices and considerations and importantly considerations of leadership, incorporating issues of good corporate and public governance amongst other considerations.

CLB offers various intellectual products and services including learning, teaching and tutorial support for law, business, management and related degrees, diplomas and qualifications of the University of London at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels

The Centre builds upon the opportunities offered by the University of London International Programmes. Whilst students of the University of London International Programmes may undertake their own independent study, they are more likely able to complete their degrees more quickly and with better results through learning and tutorial support at the Centre for Law and Business.

Our objective therefore is to enable students achieve their qualifications faster and with better results making use of our facilities.

In addition, studying through the Centre affords students the opportunity of meeting and interacting with their peers which facilitates valuable contacts, networking opportunities, cross fertilization of ideas, experiences and knowledge, and mutually beneficial collaboration. This is so and particularly useful as our students are matured accomplished individuals holding down responsible and important positions.

The benefits of such contacts are immeasurable.
On other opportunities, our seminars, short executive programmes, workshops and conferences in various aspects of law, business, management and leadership are highly beneficial.

These programmes are designed to address contemporary issues as well as enable practitioners, directors, entrepreneurs, managers, administrators and all interested persons acquire new skills and knowledge or further develop and deepen existing knowledge and skills.

For Law students in Nigerian Universities, CLB's tutorial/revision classes are designed to supplement the academic work of the various faculties of Law and better prepare and equip them for an enhanced understanding of the law and requirements for the practice of law. The programme also exposes the students to various facilities for the study and practice of law. It is highly contemporary in objective, methodology and delivery.

Also, CLB Biennial Public Lectures are designed as a public service initiative.
In summation, we offer some form of intellectual product or the other for a considerable proportion of the citizenry and will be pleased to welcome all interested persons to Centre for Law and Business.

To make our offerings available, we intend to operate Learning Centres at Lagos, Abuja, and Port-Harcourt.
